USBC Coaching Level I

To keep the quality of the course high, the USBC Coaching has a few requirements that must be met in order to conduct the class:

1. Three - four hour lane accessibility. The number of lanes is dependent upon the number of students (three students per lane). We begin on-lane activities at approx 11:00 AM, break for lunch, then back on the lanes until about 2:00 PM.
2. Smoke free meeting room availability

If a meeting room isn't available, the lecture portion of the class can be conducted on the concourse if it doesn't cause noise discomfort to the students and the class in not subject to interruption with passer-bys.  The class is conducted from 8:30 AM to approximately, 5:00 PM. The center must be open at 8:00 AM for teaching area set-up.

The minimum number of students is 10.  Flyers will be created and mailed to the class contact for distribution to local centers and associations.

Several alternatives could be offered to the students for the lunch break:

  1. A luncheon is arranged with or without the cost added to the school fee.
  2. Snack bar menu provided to the students at sign-in to allow pre-ordering.
  3. Students obtain their own lunch.

(The first two choices allow for a shorter lunch, resulting in an earlier class completion time.)

The cost is $60 per pre-registered student (pre-registration is accomplished by completing the form on the class flyer and mailing a minimum $20 of the $60 tuition).  $65 if registering the day of the class.  If the student is using one of the USBC's Free Training Credits, they will need to bring the
original letter from USBC Coaching at check-in. If four full-paying students attend from a center, they will each receive a $5 discount. All of this information is contained in the flyers that will be provided to the class contact.
